The brief
JD-PharmExpo, an online medical and pharmaceutical trade show hosted by JD Health, allows corporations to engage remotely and keep abreast of the latest industry insights and trends. Action One, Pico’s digital specialist, created the show’s 3D online exhibition platform and 3D digital booth templates.
Insight
Traditionally, in-person medical exhibitions are of relatively short duration. By being online, JD-PharmExpo would not be bound to time and venue limitations, continuing to be accessible after its launch in April 2021 and enabling it to potentially reach a wider audience.
Solution
Action One used Web3D technology to create the 3D online exhibition platform and provide exhibitors with a variety of convenient, user-friendly 3D digital booth templates. Exhibitors could quickly generate their own 3D booths by importing their company and product information, logos, photos and videos to the back-end system. Booths could be further customised with unique colour schemes and posters. All changes and selections could be previewed and modified in real time.
The platform and virtual booths mimicked a real exhibition which allowed it to retain some of the immersive feel of an offline event for visitors.
