The brief
With a new factory in Tianjin, China due to begin operations, National Electric Vehicle Sweden (NEVS) was in a mood to celebrate. In store for the 800 VIPs invited to the facility’s official launch would be an immersive look at the marque’s past, present and future, its technologies and its products.
Creative execution
Getting the concept into gear was the Pico team, who was given comprehensive responsibilities ranging from designing and building to managing the factory tour and launch ceremony.
Inside the factory, NEVS senior management and VIP guests began their experience with a 135m-long wall showcasing the marque’s milestones, values and mission. As well as telling the NEVS story, the display was designed to express the brand’s essence of simplicity and high material quality.
From the display wall, guests proceeded to a specially designed launch venue for speeches and presentations. The climactic moment arrived when the stage’s massive screen opened to reveal NEVS vehicles. Guests were invited – and eagerly accepted the opportunity – to take a close look at the cars and experience their craftsmanship for themselves.
